There's always something going on during the Daddy's Girls' Weekend."Big Daddy" competition
Each year there is a competition for "Big Daddy." The candidates for this special title will campaign during the weekend to get your vote. They will also be subjected to such rigorous tests as writing limericks, making the best toast to the "Hostess with the Mostest" (Carolyn), and perhaps a bit of dancing.
What Would Jitty Wear?
One evening will be costume oriented. Come dressed in your best imitation of an outfit that the well-dressed ghost might wear! There will be prizes.
Workshops:
The writers' workshops will each last 90 minutes, and will give you plenty of time to ask questions and gain a great deal of information from our faculty.
What is the key to a great paranormal romance?
How is a mystery plot developed?
What does a real private investigator do with his day?
What exactly is the relationship between an agent, an editor and the writer?
For readers the workshops will include the opportunity to talk to authors about their books.
What burning questions do you have about what will happen next in a series?
